One of Lackawanna County’s most beloved annual events, La Festa Italiana returns to Downtown Scranton’s Courthouse Square on Labor Day Weekend (Friday, August 29 - Monday, September 1, 2025) for four days of authentic Italian food, music, culture, and fun. Attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year, this free Italian festival is a highlight of the region’s late-summer celebrations.
Savor mouthwatering Italian specialties like freshly made pasta, pizza, and, of course, plenty of cannoli! With plenty of vendors, La Festa is a food lover’s paradise. Beyond the cuisine, enjoy nonstop live entertainment throughout the weekend, including live music, dance performances, and family-friendly attractions.
