Electric City Tattoo Convention all weekend in Scranton

The Electric City Tattoo Convention begins Friday at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, 100 Adams Ave., Scranton. Over 200 artists will be available. No presale tickets. Tickets will be sold in the second-floor lobby for cash only. Tickets are $20 for single-day passes and $50 for a three-day pass. Dave Matthews Band tribute A Proud Monkey in Wilkes-Barre Friday

A Proud Monkey, a tribute to the Dave Matthews Band, starring Pennsylvania musicians, plays the Chandelier Lobby of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, Wilkes-Barre, on Friday at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show. World premiere jazz in Scranton Saturday

Wycliffe Gordon is one of two jazz composers who will premiere new commissioned works Saturday at the University of Scranton’s 42nd annual World Premiere Composition Series Concert. The show is free. Gordon and composer/trombone soloist Jennifer Krupa will conduct and perform with the University Concert Band and the Concert Choir. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Houlihan-McLean Center, Mulberry Street and Jefferson Avenue. Pottsville Easter Bash Sunday

The Schuylkill County Council for the Arts Easter Bash & Market, at the historic Yuengling Mansion, Pottsville, is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets will be available only on the day of the event.
