Pope Francis made his first and only visit to the United States in September 2015, which concluded with a stop in Philadelphia.
His visit took him from Independence Hall to the halls of a prison. The pontiff addressed bishops at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, and held Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
Pope Francis wrapped up the visit with Mass on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, part of the World Meeting of Families.
