The Rev. Ron and Donna Liples, Olyphant, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 14, 1975, in Green Ridge Assembly of God Church by the Rev. David Dippold.
They were attended by Ken and Janet Liples, David and Judy Liples, Steve Martin and Georgeanne Mattise, Paul Hinkley and Patty Noakes, Debbie Gentile and (the Rev.) David Twiss, and Esther Ruth Davis and Jim Martin.
The couple has two sons, Aaron Liples and his wife, Robin, Olyphant; and Eliot Liples and his wife, Marie, King of Prussia. They also have four grandchildren, Jaron Liples, Olyphant; Evan Liples, Olyphant; Grant Liples, King of Prussia; and Preston Liples, King of Prussia.
A celebration of their anniversary will be held at their home with their bridal attendants. Their sons are planning a special trip for the family later in the summer.
