South Scranton church marks Living Stations of the Cross on Good Friday

St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish held a Living Stations of the Cross in Spanish with a procession on Good Friday afternoon outside the Church of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary on Prospect Avenue in Scranton. For Christians, the Stations of the Cross commemorate Jesus’ passion and death on the cross. There are 14 stations that each depict a moment on his journey to Calvary, usually through sacred art, prayers and reflections.
