Good Things Are Happening Fest

Scranton’s Good Things Are Happening Fest is the culmination of what makes this city great – a day of music, art, food, drink, and vendors, held at the historic Iron Furnaces. Named after the famous local news station segment, this inaugural event was born from a spontaneous "what if?” tweet. Indebted to many local organizers already working to push alternative culture forward, Good Things Are Happening pays homage to this mentality. Since August 2022, the festival has positively impacted the city, reinforcing the need for music, arts, and collaboration to continue.
