The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple announced the return of Curtain Call, its newest fundraiser, slated for May 1 from 6-8 p.m. This project-based fundraiser aims to benefit a new endeavor each year. Previous projects include a new ballroom curtain and upgraded microphones and lighting (largely benefiting the SCC Youth Theatre Program), while this year’s event aims to raise much-needed funds for the purchase and installation of a new sound system. The evening will feature entertainment by Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax, Ken McGraw and the SCC Youth Theatre Program as well as food by Constantino’s Catering, a premium open bar and a raffle. Local personality Ryan Leckey will serve as the evening’s emcee. Tickets are $100 per person and $125 per patron. Full details can be found at SCCMT.org/CurtainCall or by calling 570-344-1111.
