Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Calah Elizabeth Dougherty to James Patrick Corbett, both of Scranton.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Colleen Dougherty of Scranton and the late John Dougherty. She is a graduate of Scranton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in English, a post-bachelor’s teaching certification and a minor in education from Marywood University. She will receive her master’s degree in secondary/K-12 education from Marywood University in August. Calah is an eighth grade English teacher at Northeast Intermediate School.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Corbett of Moosic. He is a graduate of Scranton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from East Stroudsburg University. He is employed as a car salesman at his family’s dealership, Minooka Subaru.
The wedding will take place on June 21 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church in Scranton.
