Mr. and Mrs. Tony Cardell, Blakely, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Wednesday. They were married April 30, 1955, in St. Leo’s Church, Ashley.
The couple has five children, Tony (Jill), State College; Dan (Puddy), Houston, Texas; Mary (Greg) Gowat, Peckville; Chris (Candice), San Francisco, Calif.; and Beth (Tracy) Timothy, Salt Lake City, Utah. They also have eight grandchildren, Nissa, Randy and Eric Gowat, Tony (Pum) Cardell, Danielle (Guilliame) Marec, Nicole Cardell, Kara (Dan) Erickson and Glenn (Chelsea) Cardell; and six great-grandchildren, Tony and Liana Cardell, Charlotte and Isabelle Marec, and Hannah and Paige Erickson.
They marked the occasion with a family party.
