Keystone College on Wednesday hosted the 2025 Regional Pennsylvania Envirothon Competition for high school students from Lackawanna and Wyoming counties. The event, co-organized by the Lackawanna County Conservation District and the Wyoming County Conservation District, included roughly 135 students representing Abington Heights, Lackawanna Trail, Lakeland, North Pocono, Old Forge, Riverside, Tunkhannock and Valley View. The event is a hands-on, academic competition that encourages high school students to think critically about the natural world and their roles in it.
