Neighborhood meeting: North Scranton Neighborhood Association meeting, May 7, 6 p.m., Weston Park. Pat Tobin, director of the Lackawanna County assessment office, will be present to answer questions regarding the new property assessments. All meetings are at 6 p.m. at Weston Park, 100 Spring St., Scranton (not Weston Field). The remaining meeting dates for 2025 are the first Wednesday of the month: June 4, July 2, Aug. 6, Sept. 3 and Oct. 1.

Green Dragon is a 60-acre market in the heart of Amish country with over 100 vendors, housed in seven large indoor buildings and many more outdoors. Trip is open to the public.
