St. Peter’s Cathedral, Scranton, was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Emily Anna Sheehan and Jacob Travis Manetti, both of Scranton. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Gina Sheehan, Dunmore. The bridegroom is the son of Dominick Manetti, Spring Brook Twp., and Wendy Manetti, Old Forge.
The Rev. Jeffrey Tudgay officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
Amanda McGuigan, Linden, N.C., sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Hannah Sheehan, Dunmore, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mariah Kasperowski, Throop; Cassidy Rivera, Clarks Summit; Brooke Robertson, Dunmore; and Mara Walsh, Arlington, Va.
Niko Manetti, Puyallup, Wash., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Joseph Bruno, Hughestown; Bruce Damon, Baltimore, Md.; Benjamin Grochowski, Clarks Summit, cousin of the bridegroom; Craig Grochowski, Moosic, cousin of the bridegroom; Eric Grochowski, Seattle, Wash., cousin of the bridegroom; Shane Schuback, Old Forge; and Matthew Trotta, Old Forge.

A reception was held at Stone Hedge Golf Course.
The bride is a graduate of Dunmore High School. She graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She also graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a teaching certification and a master’s degree in health and physical education. She is a teacher at Northeast Intermediate School, Scranton, and an assistant girls basketball coach at Scranton Prep.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Old Forge High School. He graduated from King’s College with a bachelor’s degree in business. He also graduated from Luzerne Intermediate Unit with a graduate certificate in special education. He is a teacher and football coach at West Scranton High School.
The couple met through mutual friends.
The couple, who are taking a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, will reside in Scranton.
