Q: What were your most rewarding school or community activities?
A: Student council is definitely my most rewarding activity. I love being able to make a tangible impact on my school community through drives, student giveback opportunities, and so much more.
Q: What is something you do to relax?
A: I absolutely love to read! I read everything from high fantasy to the classics.
Q: Plans after high school graduation?
A: Penn State University, biomedical engineering, starting in the fall! I plan one day to work in medical research to help find cures for degenerative mental disorders.
Q: Who do you most admire and why?
A: I most admire my mom. She is the strongest and most passionate person that I have ever met. She inspires me to speak up for what I believe in and push myself to be the best I can be, even when it would be easier to step back and let someone else do the hard work. I owe who I am today to her.
Q: What advice do you have for younger students?
A: Slow down every once in a while! No matter the grade on the test or final score of the big game, you are doing amazing and have so much to be proud of yourself for. Always remember to love yourself!
