The Board of Trustees of the Waverly Community House is pleased to announce that the next Waverly Small Works Gallery Exhibit will feature the works of artist Renée Emanuel. In Praise of the Ordinary will be on display in the Gallery (in the South Wing of The Comm) from Friday, June 6th, through Friday, July 18th, with an Opening Reception from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 6th. The opening reception will feature music and light refreshments.
Renée Emanuel, a native of Northeast Pennsylvania, earned her MFA in Painting from Marywood University. Her vibrant works--created in acrylic, watercolor, and casein--reflect a deep connection to the natural world and to still life compositions that suggest an intimate, interior landscape.
The Gallery is free and open to the public for viewing Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or by appointment.
