A Williamsport man exposed himself inside a Goodwill thrift store in Scranton on Monday, in the presence of children, police charge.
David Rodney Miller, 70, of 141 Willow St., faces charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
According to the criminal complaint:
At about 8 p.m., Scranton police officers were called to the store at 1766 N. Keyser Ave. for the report of a man exposing himself. Dispatchers told officers the man had long hair and was wearing a black romper.
When officers arrived at the store, a Goodwill employee said the man was driving away in a white Ford truck.
Police stopped the truck nearby.
Officers spoke with a Goodwill employee who said they had spotted Miller with his legs open to the point his private area was on view.
Officers also spoke with two juvenile employees who said Miller had a romper-style dress pulled to his chest and his private parts could be seen.
Both said they believed it was intentional.
Employees noted there were two children between the ages of 2 and 5 in the store at the time.
Officers arrested Miller, who denied exposing himself.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on June 16 before District Judge Paul Ware.
Miller remains at Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
