The Lackawanna County Heritage Fair continues through Sunday after setting an opening-day attendance record Thursday, when more than 2,500 fairgoers came out to the fairgrounds at Montage Mountain Resorts, Lackawanna County Fair and Recreation Authority Chairman Armand Olivetti said. He and other organizers hope the strong turnout continues over the weekend, with the fair running from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. In addition to carnival rides, games, live entertainment and more, the $15 price of admission includes access to Montage Mountain Resorts’ water park. More information on the fair is available online at lackawannacountyheritagefairs.com. The website also includes a link to purchase tickets, with four-ticket packages available at a reduced rate of $40 for fair admission on Sunday.
