Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Armillay

St. George’s Orthodox Church, Taylor, was the setting Sept. 14, 2024, for the wedding of Megan Ann Kolis and Tyler Stephen Armillay, both of Taylor. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Marsha Kolis, Taylor. The bridegroom is the son of James and Marygrace Armillay, Taylor.

The Rev. Mark Leasure officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Laura Fetch, Taylor, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alexa Aulisio, Taylor; Morgan Chabala, Taylor; and Abbey Sweetman, Moosic.

Thomas Armillay, South Abington Twp., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were James Armillay Jr., Esq., Hooksett, N.H., brother of the bridegroom; Michael Bernardi, Old Forge; Joseph Bruno, Hughestown; Michael Loftus, Moosic; Mathew Lucas, Philadelphia; John Plisko, Taylor; and David Sweetman, Esq., Moosic.

A reception was held at Glenmaura National Golf Club, Moosic.

The bride is a graduate of Riverside High School, Taylor, and the University of Scranton, Scranton, with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication and a minor in political science. She is currently employed as a senior account executive at Condron Sweda Advertising.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Riverside High School, Taylor, and Assumption University, Worcester, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree in psychology as a student-athlete, playing D2 football. He then attended Endicott College, Beverly, Mass., where he earned his MBA. Tyler is currently a financial services professional at MassMutual Greater Philadelphia.

The couple met at Tiny Tots Preschool.

The couple, who took a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, resides in Scranton.
