The 15th annual St. Eulalia Jerry Mahon 5K will take place July 19 at 9 a.m. The course for the 5K Run/Walk will be through scenic Roaring Brook and Elmhurst townships. The Kids Fun Run starts at 8:55 a.m. from the 5K start/finish line for ages 12 and under. All will receive medals. Kids 12 and under who register for the 5K can participate in the Kids Fun Run for free. Registration fees (no day-of registrations) are $20/person ($12 for ages 12 and under), $25/person with K9 and $8/child for Kids Fun Run (includes medal but no shirt). Race highlights include professional photographs, celebrity starter Fran Pantuso, professional DJ , nutritious snack at the finish line, plus raffle baskets, 50/50 and an ice cream truck. Awards will be given in the following categories: first overall male and female runners; first overall male and female walkers; first K9; first, second and third in age groups: 65+, 50-64, 40-49, 30-39, 19-29, 13-18, 12 and under.
