The United States Courthouse in Scranton was the setting May 12 for the wedding of Kylie Elizabeth Patrick and Matthew James Calvey, both of Clarks Summit. The bride is the daughter of Christine Patrick, Clarks Summit, and the late Jerome Patrick. The bridegroom is the son of Todd Calvey, Laurel Run, Pa., and his partner, Abby Dennebaum, and Melissa Calvey, Factoryville, and her partner, Marcus Stewart.
Judge Julia Munley officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Jordan Patrick, Philadelphia, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
The bride is a 2019 graduate of Abington Heights High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Pharm.D. from Wilkes University.

The bridegroom is a 2019 graduate of Abington Heights High School. He earned an associate’s degree from Johnson College of Technology in 2022 and currently works as a certificated aircraft and powerplant mechanic. He recently joined the United States Air Force Reserves and will begin basic military training in Texas in July.
The couple met in sophomore year of high school through the marching band, where they both played the trumpet.
The couple resides in Hanover Twp.
