St. Joseph’s Center and Lackawanna County are hosting a Summer Kickoff Celebration and Family Fun Night on June 18 from 4-7 p.m. at McDade Park. Proceeds will benefit the St. Joseph’s Center Summer Festival. Enjoy the Fidelity free ice cream truck, fire trucks, a bike giveaway, Frankie Gervasi entertaining, face painting/crafts, other Lackawanna County programs, police cars and more from local emergency services including: Scranton police and fire departments, Taylor police and fire departments, Lackawanna County SWAT, sheriff’s department and Lackawanna County Emergency Management Services. Go Joe 28 T-shirts will be available for purchase.
