Scranton Wellness Fair

Rising Tide Wellness will host the Scranton Wellness Fair from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lackawanna County Courthouse Courtyard, located in the heart of downtown Scranton. This free, community-centered event will bring together more than 25 healthcare vendors and service providers to offer direct, no-cost services and resources to residents of Scranton and surrounding areas.

Attendees will have access to on-site medical consultations, mental health counseling, addiction and recovery resources, emergency housing assistance, wellness education, and more. The event is designed to remove barriers to healthcare by delivering critical services in a welcoming, outdoor setting.

Scranton currently faces an uninsured rate of 8.2% (residents under 65) as per census data, with more than 5,000 residents lacking access to essential health services. Rising Tide Wellness, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, aims to bridge that gap through its mobile, collaborative outreach model. The Scranton Wellness Fair is a continuation of the successful Wilkes-Barre event held in April 2025, which served over 250 individuals and featured 58 vendors.

The fair will also feature free food and local nonprofit engagement to drive this event with the spirit of community healing.

“Our mission is to bring compassionate care and accessible services directly to the people who need them most,” said Daryl Lewis, Director of Rising Tide Wellness. “This is about empowering residents, reducing health disparities, and uniting community providers under one banner.”

Volunteers are still being accepted. To participate, please contact info@risingtide-wellness.org or visit www.risingtide-wellness.org for more information.
