Scranton Mayor Paige Gebhardt Cognetti and members of the Parks and Recreation Department on Friday celebrated the start of summer with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the recently refurbished Connell Park pool. The South Side pool was closed in summer 2024 for a complete renovation.
