Four firms from throughout Lackawanna and Wayne counties will receive financial support from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Overall, Ben Franklin Northeast approved more than $2 million in investments from April to June of fiscal year 2025 to support 17 companies — 11 early stage firms and six established manufacturers — fostering innovative product development, workforce expansion and operational growth across the region, officials said.
Among the 11 early-stage companies sharing a total of $1,370,731:
Jessup-based Automate HQ Inc. — housed in the TekRidge Center — which builds enterprise-grade, AI-driven platforms to automate training, operations, and standard operating procedures across industries such as manufacturing, logistics and health care.
Global Key Solutions, of Scranton, which provides a data analytics platform that scrapes and processes regulatory, office and business documents, turning unstructured inputs into actionable compliance and keyword insights.
Honesdale-based Redemption Business Solutions LLC, which delivers a cloud enterprise resource planning system designed for retailers, helping to modernize operations, payment flexibility and digital transformation.
Among six companies sharing $659,550 provided to established manufacturers incorporating student enrichment work with a college or university partner is:
Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF Biologics) — a nonprofit tissue bank with more than 35 years of experience processing human donor tissue grafts, including orthopedic, wound care and reconstructive applications to support global medical procedures — which has a facility in Jessup.
Kimberly N. Metz, senior manager, head of marketing for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of NEPA, noted each investment is designed around the specific needs of the company and the scope of their proposed project
