SCRANTON — Representatives of the Greater Scranton Board of Realtors and the city Monday installed at Weston Field the first of five new Little Free Libraries donated by the board for city parks, said board President Robin Lee Medeiros. The board obtained a nearly $5,000 grant from the National Association of Realtors to fund the purchase of the book nooks. “It’s a grant that we applied for and received to help with the revitalization of Scranton’s parks,” Medeiros said. The board also conducted a book drive among Realtors. “As soon as we get them up, we will fill them with books,” she said. The other four nooks will go into Weston, Connell, Robinson and Fellows parks.
