Molly Anne Cerep and Samuel Jacob Dyer (SUBMITTED)
Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Molly Anne Cerep to Samuel Jacob Dyer, both of Scranton.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Thomas and Terianne Cerep, Scranton. She is the granddaughter of Joan Cerep and the late Thomas J. Cerep, of Minooka, and Mary Joanne Charles and the late Thomas J. Charles, of Scranton. She is a graduate of Holy Cross High School in Dunmore and earned her bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University. She holds master’s degrees in vocal performance/pedagogy and arts administration from Ohio University. She is the owner and operator of Sing with Molly Voice Studio, teaches voice at Musical Dreams Studio in Moscow, and works as a lab assistant at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Nanci Anne Dyer and Sam Dyer, Lancaster, Ohio. He is the grandson of Thomas and Paula Jean Dyer, of Lancaster, Ohio and Jeannine Cunningham and the late Larry Dyer, of Amanda, Ohio. He is a graduate of Fisher Catholic High School in Lancaster, Ohio and is employed as a registered nurse in ophthalmology at Geisinger Healthplex.
Molly and Sammy connected while Molly was in graduate school in Athens, Ohio.
The wedding is set for Aug. 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church.
