Easter spin: Dunmore VFW Easter spin, Saturday, 3-7 p.m., win ham, kielbasa, porketta and gift certificates to local businesses, basket raffles and Frankie Gervasi spinning the wheel and playing music. Open to the public.

Designer bag bingo: St. Catherine of Siena Parish Altar & Rosary Society designer bag bingo, May 18, parish hall, 220 Church St. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., bingo begins at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25/advance, $30/at door. Admission includes 20 regular bingo games. Bonus bingo games available for $5 each or 4/$15. Purses include Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade and Vera Bradley. Special bingos include a 70-inch TV with a vegan leather recliner, Michael Kors leather luggage set, firepit with bistro set and more. Over 60 raffle baskets; raffle tickets are 5/$1. Ample free parking and handicap accessible. Homemade foods and baked goods, beverages and 50/50 tickets are also available for purchase during the event. Regional

OSHA training: Johnson College is accepting enrollments for its 30-hour, noncredit OSHA training course at the Scranton campus. The course will run from April 22 to May 3, with classes scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-8:45 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m. The final week will feature classes on May 5, from 5:30-8:45 p.m., and May 8, from 5:30-8:45 p.m. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge on a range of essential safety topics, including fall protection, electrical safety, personal protective equipment (PPE) and more. The OSHA 30-hour training is ideal for individuals in leadership roles, those seeking advanced safety training, and employees in the general industry workforce. Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will receive the official OSHA 30 General Industry Outreach Course Completion Card. The cost for the course is $600.
