Scranton Civic Ballet Company: "On Stage Please"

The Scranton Civic Ballet Company will present their annual performance of “On Stage Please” on Saturday, May 24th, at 2:00 PM at The Theater at North under the direction of Miss Helen Gaus and assisted by Robert Zaloga. The performance will feature all of the students in the Primary “Lilliputian” Division as well as the Pre-Professional Division. The performance will also showcase a special performance by the 2025 high school graduates.

A junkyard on the Eynon Jermyn Road in Archbald could become data centers. Dunmore to improve Keystone Industrial Park Road with $1.8M in grants

Dunmore will use nearly $2 million in grants to improve the crumbling Keystone Industrial Park Road, giving drivers a smoother surface and pedestrians a safer path to work. Borough council voted Monday to approve a resolution authorizing and directing borough Manager Greg Wolff to sign an agreement with the state Department of Transportation to improve Keystone Industrial Park Road, council President Janet Brier said. Senior housing projects progress in Dunmore, roughly $21 million investment

Two senior housing projects will add nearly 90 apartments and personal care units to Dunmore Corners, representing an estimated $21 million investment into Dunmore’s downtown. Construction of the four-story Bucktown Center at East Drinker and South Apple streets is nearly complete, creating 37 one-bedroom apartments — each about 800 square feet — and three two-bedroom apartments, said Marty Fotta, chief operating officer of United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
