Fridays In The Park at McDade Park

It's that time of year again, Fridays In The Park are back in Lackawanna County!

The Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging is hosting “Fridays In The Park” beginning Friday, June 6th at McDade Park from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For adults 60 years and older, join the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging for fun activities, programs, and lunch. Reservations are available for 50 people per park. Call 570-963-6710 ext. 1450 to make a reservation.

Work progressing on Moosic’s new $6.1 million emergency services building

Moosic’s police and fire departments will be under one roof by the end of the year. Construction is on-budget and underway for the borough’s new emergency services building on Birney Avenue, with construction expected to be completed in November, said Mayor Bob Bennie.
